At 18:45, when truth be told, I was already on my way home, the Frikadelli Porsche took the checkered flag victoriously. It was Patrick Huisman who took the lead at Antoniusbuche during the first lap, while Patrick Pilet continued the race after the long red flag to defend the lead. Their second outright VLN victory ever, this time wíth Sabine Schmitz racing.

Although the Pflanzgarten II accident looked bad, no one was injured in spite of the VW Scirroco landing outside of the track and the Porsche being a complete write-off as well. Yes, we were worried for a minute there.
